About Andrea Maxand
Author Andrea Maxand began her writing career as a songwriter, singer, and performer. She worked with a number of notable musicians from her native Pacific Northwest, including recording an album and EP with indie producer Chris Walla, as well as collaborating with Jason McGerr and Nick Harmer of Death Cab for Cutie on her 2004 album Where the Words Go.
These days, however, Andrea focuses her writing talent on the medium of novels and serial fiction. Her “sweet spot” is telling stories about finding happiness on the outskirts of happily ever after in the New Adult genre. The 2019 novella Boxing Day was Andrea’s first published story, and her first novel, Dreams Fall Like Rain, was published February 13, 2024.
Andrea currently lives in the Pacific Northwest with a menagerie of real and robotic cats. When she’s not writing or spending time with her fearless felines, she’s likely up to something a bit odd and random. Or doing her day job. (Paralegal by day, author by night.) Or watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Incessantly.
New novel by author Andrea Maxand coming in 2025, stay tuned for details!
